What you get if you follow the Program to the letter!
- · A manufacturer’s representative MUST sign off, using our form as seen below, on the “NEW” uncirculated representative sample. NO EXCEPTIONS! Refusal to sign off is a RED FLAG
- New Linen Certification Program “fingerprints” the representative sample for identification purposes for two reasons. # 1) to ID the sheet if a problem arises and # 2) to make sure you get the same sheet when reordering.
- If the sheet passes all testing, it will “draw a line in the sand” of liability between the manufacture and the end user.
- If you present the test results to your property and show that the linen is compromised, you can refuse to process the new linen OR you can warn the property that the linen in question will fail prematurely and that you refuse liability. (at their own risk).
- Implied warranty applies that if you buy linen for a hotel the seller knows it will be laundered in a commercial laundry environment (Fabri care label on each item.)
- The New Linen Certification test will supersede the Fabric care label based on the actual fabric not a legal waver of liability warning.

Disclaimer: This test requires that a manufacturer present and certify in writing that the sheet sent for testing is representative of the linen to be purchased by the end user. The manufacturer also certifies that the sample is New and never processed in a commercial laundry. New Linen Certification program certifies that the linen represented by the manufacturer can be washed in a normal commercial laundering process. Exclusions: Cut and sew, ornamentation issues and Duvet covers count as two samples depending on construction. No other warranty is expressed or implied for the durability of the Linen tested.

NEW SHEET CERTIFICATION PROGRAM for laboratory testing is in “NEW OUT OF THE BOX” condition from the manufacturer. Further agrees and warrants that it is a representative sample of the sheets being purchased by the end user such as Hotel, Motel, Hospital etc. It is also certifying that the sender is familiar and understands that the purpose of the New Linen Certification is to "finger print" the "Representative Sample" for future reference.
